Yehoshua entered into Jerusalem, and he went into the temple: and he had a look around at everything, and when the evening came, he left the people that he had been with, and he went out of Jerusalem with his twelve disciples, to Bethany; and they lodged there.

Now in the morning when they left Bethany, and as they were returning to Jerusalem, Jesus was feeling hungry.

And he saw a fig tree on the way, and it was far off, so he came to the tree, hoping to find some figs (fruit) on it: but when he got there, he found nothing on the tree but leaves; because the time for the tree to produce figs (fruit) had not yet arrived.

So Yehoshua said to the tree, Let no fruit grow on you from this time until forever, And the disciples heard what Yehoshua said.

And when the evening arrived, Yehoshua again left Jerusalem.
And in the morning as they passed by again, they saw the fig tree, and it had dried up from the roots.

And when the disciples saw the dried up tree, they were amazed, and they said, Master, see, the fig tree which you cursed has withered away!

And Yehoshua answered and said to the disciples, Truly I tell you, If you have faith, and you do not doubt, you will not only do what has been done to this fig tree, but also if you say to this mountain, You be removed, and be cast into the sea; it will be done.

And all things, whatsoever you shall ask in prayer, believing, you will receive them.
