Lets make mud!
You will need a spade to dig up some some soil. An old bowl, a smooth board, a rolling pin, some water, and a broom and dust pan to clean up your mess.
Dig up some earth from the garden and put it into an old bowl and put enough water into it to make a thick paste, now put it onto a smooth piece of wood and pull it into pieces, and squash it into shapes with your hands, roll it up in your hands and make a ball? Use your hands as a stamp, lay your hands on the mud and press down, now, lift up your hands and you will see an imprint of your hands in the mud. Let the mud dry out, feel how hard it is. Break it up, bang it together, crush it with a rolling pin, can you see lots of little pieces of earth, can you see crumbs of earth, can you see dust? Earth is made of particles of dust. Dont forget to clean up your mess, sweep up the dried earth with your broom, pick it up in the dust pan and put it back into the garden, wash and wipe, the bowl, the board and the rolling pin and put them all away.
