Mountains of rocks, stones, boulders, pebbles, sand, mire and grit are carried into the midst of the sea, where they are broken to pieces and worn away by the violence of rolling waves, which deposit (hurl, drop, and roll) the broken and worn down particles at, upon, and along, their coastal shores.
